Weeping Prophets

The Prophets of old were not led by popular culture nor were they led by the news of the day. They were men who walked with God. Who talked with God. Who spoke only what they heard. They were not life coaches with feel-good sermons. They did not entertain nor tell jokes, they spoke the Word of the Lord. They were hated and murdered. They were not purpose driven, the were Spirit led. They were not politically correct, they were theologically correct. They bowed not to politicians, to the latest fads, or the need to be accepted of men. Their only reward on this earth was blood & stones.
They were weeping prophets.
